AI, AI, what the h*ll is AI?

TL:DR (Opinion piece) - AI can be described as an amoeba that evolved into a multicell being a few months ago and is evolving rapidly. What we see and understand in AI today is laughingly simple but is growing incrementally. AI has not improved our lives apart from impressive meme's. Artificial General AI (AGI) is around the corner and possibly here already and on an evolutionary scale, scary as hell. Artificial Super Intelligence (ASI), well, we are screwed.

AI is driving hardware development hard. Do you need a 800GbE 51.2Tbps switch? – Yes you do!

TL:DR High end switches from Marvell now deliver 51.2 Tbps at 512 radix with a current draw of 15KW for a cluster of six switches or 90A that is equivalent to 131,500 kWh per year costing $39,500.00 per year in California or $64,500.00 in Germany.

How to add Nomad to a Domino 14 update

TL:DR - Run the installer, choose custom, select Nomad, Verse and OnTime. Have a coffee. Nothing is ever simple especially when following HCL documentation. Daniel said it was so easy he did not even document it. Well, its not when using Linux. Getting Nomad for mobile is ok but the PWA web service is another story. The key is the file path for nomad-files. It needs to be in the Domino Program Directory!

Kemp Loadmaster and Proxmox 8.1.3

TL:DR - Change your proxmox disk from RAW to QCOW2 for more stable Kemp Loadmaster implementation.

Proxmox VE is an Open Source solution for running virtual devices including, virtual machines, containers and more. It is perfect and almost a necessity for lab environments but is powerful and robust enough for the most demanding production environment

The future of computing is scary, at best.

Emulac can be used as a definition of our ™Neural Micro Services and can be categorized as follows: Isn't conscious, is pretending to be. Isn't conscious, isn't pretending to be. Is conscious, is pretending not to be - Scary movie stuff! Is conscious...is conscious.

Step 3. Setting up Proxmox Mail Gateway.

Proxmox Mail Gateway or PMG is a shell that provides a neat interface for Sendmail / Postfix. It adds a number of features but also adds quite a bit of complexity. It will be rare for you to find a PMG specific article describing how to fix a Sendmail configuration issue or how to setup a PMG system from scratch never-mind getting it to work properly and then monitoring the system.

So, you have been told setting up a corporate mail system is easy.

SMTP Email is ubiquitous but the setup can be very complicated. This feature post will assist you in setting up the infrastructure.
