3           PLANNING PRINCIPLES

The planning principles for Data Center development include the following principles:

1. Sustainable
   The development of sustainable DATA CENTERS should focus on minimizing the impact of DATA CENTERS development on natural resources and preserving the environment. This can be achieved by using energy-efficient, renewable energy technologies as well as implementing water-efficient cooling management practices to reduce carbon emissions.

• Shared Resources
  Shared resources in the context of DATA CENTERS refer to the efficient use of infrastructure and equipment. Cloud-type DATA CENTERS  that have uniform equipment can save costs and maximize the operating costs of DATA CENTERS.

• Safe
  The security that needs to be taken into account is the physical safety of employees and infrastructure in DATA CENTERS. DATA CENTERS are environments with high-power equipment as well as diesel generator sets. Therefore, the planning of the DATA CENTERS site should include fire safety measures and emergency action plans.

• Scalable
  Scalability involves planning the DATA CENTERS site to meet future growth. It needs to be flexible and able to evolve to adapt to the increasing demand for capacity. It also includes capabilities with the addition of more servers and network equipment as needed.

• Smart
  Smart technology in DATA CENTERS planning refers to the integration of cutting-edge technologies such as IoT sensors, machine learning, and automation to optimize operations. Smart DATA CENTERS can dynamically adjust the cooling system and energy consumption and further improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
