This role is perfect for someone with little to no experience but a strong interest in IT and a willingness to take on new challenges. You will be mentored by a highly experienced IBM veteran with decades of technical expertise, offering you unparalleled exposure to enterprise systems like HCL Notes, Domino, and other databases, as well as AI technologies.

Role Overview:

This is a hybrid role combining elements of a Personal Assistant and a Junior IT Assistant. You will work closely with the founder, assisting with daily tasks, learning technical skills, and contributing to the growth of the company.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Daily Task Management:
    • Attend morning meetings to discuss and document daily tasks.
    • Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  2. Technical Learning:
    • Gain hands-on experience with enterprise systems like HCL Notes, Domino, and other databases.
    • Learn about AI systems, particularly LLMs and RAG, and how they can be applied in real-world scenarios.
  3. Sales and Outreach:
    • Conduct cold calls and sales calls to potential clients or partners.
    • Develop communication and sales skills in a supportive environment.
  4. General Support:
    • Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
    • Be open to taking on new challenges and learning new skills.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • No prior experience required, but a strong interest in IT and technology is essential.
  • Open-minded, curious, and willing to learn.
  • Brave and confident enough to make cold calls and sales calls.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Malayu and some Chinese (spoken and written).
  • Any age is welcome, but recent school leavers or individuals re-entering the job market after an extended break are encouraged to apply.
  • Reliable, punctual, and eager to take on challenges.
